Now Booking Weddings & Events for Winter 2011 and Spring 2012

I take pride in doing a highly professional and well prepared job for any performance or event for which I am hired and I have nearly twenty years of experience playing throughout the country, including numerous performances in New York City and Las Vegas.

My wedding services include:

• Prelude Music (played 20-30 minutes before ceremony as your guests are seated)
• Ceremony Music (Processional, Recessional, etc.)
• Cocktail Hour Music (if you are having one)
• A short meeting (if you are in the Charlotte area and would like me to present some possible wedding music selections to you in person)
• My attendance at your rehearsal
• A copy of my debut CD, "Sketches of Latin America," as a wedding gift

 

I have all of the standard wedding repertoire (Air For The G String, Pachelbel's Canon, Trumpet Voluntary, etc.) under my fingers and I can accommodate most any song request.

Congratulations to my students, Will Keenan and Matthew Pertgen, for receiving highest ratings at the 2011 North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs Competition held Saturday, February 12, at Queens University!!

I am pleased to offer a home studio space to my current and future students dedicated to the purpose of guitar study. Conveniently located in South Charlotte off of Tyvola Road (between South Boulevard and Park Road), the rooms have reverberant hardwood floors. Individual and group lessons start at $20/30 minutes. Styles offered include: classical, jazz, rock, pop, folk and blues. All ages and levels, beginner to advanced, welcome. I also offer instruction in music theory, music history and ear training. Classical Guitar News is a UK-based website which is "run by classical guitarists for classical guitarists." They offer many resources for the student and professional and have generously reviewed my debut CD, "Sketches of Latin America"-

"Main Street Sessions" program. "Main Street Sessions" is hosted by Jennifer Foster and presents local talent. I'll be playing some standard classical pieces and running my mouth about them a little also. If you miss it, it will be available online at www.wdav.org on Monday, December 1.

Charlotte, NC is home to some fantastic flute (note alliteration) players and I've allied myself with a couple of them! We play Classical, Spanish, Latin and Popular styles and can arrange practically anything for our instrumental combination. Feel free to contact me regarding rates and availability.
